Thunder Falls to Titans in Low-Scoring Affair


Both teams were strong on defense on Sunday, but Titans was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over Thunder on Sunday.


Titans got things moving in the first inning. Jeremie Torres hit into a fielder's choice, scoring one run.


Titans took the lead for good with two runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Jeremy Carrion singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run and Vic Moczo singled , scoring one run.


Thunder had ten hits in the game. Eric "Yala" Ayala, Danny Ramirez, and Jonathan "French" Sein each collected multiple hits for Thunder. Ayala led Thunder with three hits in three at bats.


Titans tallied 11 hits on the day. Carrion, Jayden Carraquillo, and Noel Viruet JR each racked up multiple hits for Titans. Carrion went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Titans in hits.
